Roberta giving a blessing at the Unity Church in the Rockies

From Kristina, Colorado Springs

I went to my first Deeksha blessing one Sunday morning not knowing what to expect.  The meditation was very soothing and I felt quite relaxed as the other people in the room got their blessings. I felt nothing in particular as I got my blessing but was peaceful and relaxed for the rest of the day.

I didn't think anything more about it until two weeks later when I woke up in the night with my hands itching so badly that I felt I could scratch the skin off. I ran them under cold water and put anti-itch lotion on them, and wrapped them in ice packs before I could finally get them to quit itching enough so I could go back to sleep.

What I noticed that following day was that a skin condition, eczema, had cleared from my hands. It was the first time in around 2 years that my hands were clear. The amazing thing is that it didnt come back for weeks. I can't remember that last time my hands were free from this painful condition for so long. Certainly it had been many years.

Another change that occurred in my life was that I became more efficient at work. I was able to get all of my work done by the end of the day instead of having stacks left over for the next day. I was able to do more during the day which caused me to be less stressed during the day at work and in the evening at home. My co-workers noticed and asked me what I was doing differently. I even started needing less desk space, making more room for others since many of us share a work area.

I think I had been holding things inside of myself that was the cause of some of my problems, and since the Blessing I have expelled those things and allowed my life to become easier.

From Beth Starritt, Colorado Springs

I used to believe that spiritual growth required work. I struggled with the chatter in my mind with meditation, not to mention the discipline to do it. I read, attended seminars and had readings of various sorts. Most of the things I heard I knew, but applying them daily was a challenge.

I received my first Deeksha as much out of curiosity as anything. Always seeking! I had no idea what to expect. During my first experience I felt energy going down my spine then white light energy surrounding my entire being. It was the most profound experience of my life. I have received several this year and the experiences have varied from vague energy feelings in chakras to very high energy connecting me to the universe. My first visual experience was watching the observer in me observe me.

The changes in my perceptions have been thrilling. I hadn’t viewed the world with the wonder of a child for 40 years. I appreciate things with a clarity and intensity that I scarcely noticed before. I spend much of my day grateful for the smallest blessings. The mental chatter is quieter; I can acknowledge it and let it go without much effort.

The first thing that really sets this apart from all of the “seeking” I had done is that it works in spite of me. The Oneness Blessing doesn’t judge worthiness the way the ego does. It isn’t something I have to do; it just flows through me as it is intended.

I spend more of my time as an active participant in my life. The tools and methods that I used to struggle with are becoming a natural, integrated part of my path.

The only thing left to say to Bertie is Namaste.

From Dawn:

I have been doing various forms of Yoga and meditation for over fourteen years and I was amazed by the experiences I had during and after receiving the Deeksha oneness blessing by phone.  The meditation during the process was deep and delightful, and the effect stayed with me for days afterward.  I felt lighter and truly blessed.  I recommend this process highly.  If you would like to hear more about my Deeksha experience, please contact me at DawneFer108@gmail.com.
